“African Americans and the Arts” is the theme for this year’s Black History Month. Did you know that novelist Toni Morrison was from Lorain? She was also a Nobel and Pulitzer prize winner, and recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom.


As we celebrate Presidents Day today, here are some fun facts...

BMS English Teacher Jennifer Bruesewitz presented at the National Council of Teachers of English convention. The annual event brings together educators, authors, administrators and publishers for learning and inspiration. Presenters are considered experts in their fields.
