A ribbon-cutting ceremony at Westerly's new Weston's Walk and Read trail took place on Friday, September 6, 2024. The event was attended by Westerly students and staff, and was a culmination of more than two years of work by third-grade teacher Mrs. Alison Wolkmann and her students --past and present. Mrs. Volkmann says " Every great reader starts with just one page." Stop by this new storybook trail along the Westerly walking path and enjoy the first featured book, "Scaredy Squirrel" by Melanie Watt.
