DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS Monday 11/11/24

Today is Veterans Day, the annual day of remembrance honoring all those who have served in the military, past or present. The date originally commemorated the anniversary of the formal ending of WWI at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918 when the Armistice with Germany went into effect. At the urging of major U.S. veteran organizations, Armistice Day was renamed Veterans Day in 1954.

Please take a moment of silence to remember those who have made the ultimate sacrifice to protect our freedom.

The Bay High School students and staff express our sincere thanks to all who have served, and are serving our country.

Picture retake day for Bay High School is scheduled for Thursday: November 14th during lunch and QRP. Thomas & Thomas Photography will be set up in the West Gym Hallway. If you were not photographed during the initial picture day, please be sure to head down to make sure you are included in the yearbook. If you were photographed during the original picture day, there is a retake sheet that was included in your picture envelope with more details about what to do if you want a retake. Please fill out this form, and return it with your pictures in order to get them retaken. If you have questions about your original photos, don't hesitate to reach out to Thomas & Thomas directly. The powderpuff football game is a flag football game between the girls from BHS junior and senior classes. Proceeds go to the Bay Rocket Association Student Boosters Scholarship Fund. Coaches for the game will be your own Bay Rocket Football Players. To play, students must pay $30.00. Fee includes a T-Shirt.
