Join the Wrestling Team!

Are you ready to challenge yourself, build strength, and be part of an incredible team? The wrestling team is looking for new members, and we want YOU to join us!

Who can join?

All students (Both Boys & GIrls) are welcome, regardless of experience level.
Both beginners and experienced wrestlers are encouraged to participate.

Why join the wrestling team?

Improve your physical fitness and mental toughness.
Learn valuable skills and techniques from experienced coaches.
Be part of a supportive and motivated team environment.
Compete in local and regional tournaments.

Open Mat/ Practice Schedule:

Mondays, Wednesdays from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM
Location: BHS Wrestling Room (East Gym)
First Practice is November 15th!
A Schedule will be posted on the BHS Wrestling Room Door!

How to sign up:

Attend Open Mats or our first practice session on Nov. 15th.

Guidance Office Update:

Today, we will have college rep visits from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, Bucknell University, and THE Ohio State University. Thursday we will be visited by reps from Eckerd College, Purdue University and Oberlin College.

We have a new math and science tutor!!!

Do you need assistance with math or science? Interested in preparation for tests or quizzes? Stop by to see Mr. Schroeder in Room 103a (next door to Lecture Hall 1) Tuesdays and

Thursdays, during lunch periods and QRP.

Science Night is Monday, Oct. 28th this year and many volunteers are needed to make this fun community event happen. 5 science classrooms and the library will be decorated for Halloween and filled with exciting science demonstrations and games. Students model fun science demos in areas of optics, electromagnetism, chemistry, mechanics, pressure, density, and thermodynamics. Students and families from Glenview, Normandy, and Westerly will come to enjoy our Halloween Science Night from 6:00 - 8:30 pm! It's a fun way to celebrate this festive season, share your science enthusiasm, inspire future scientists, and earn service hours!

Please sign up to help us out and earn up to 6 service hours. We need all of the volunteers we can get for this event and volunteers will work in groups of 2-3 so invite your friends! You do not need to be a club member to participate. All are welcome!

Volunteers will attend a planning/practice meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 15th after school in Rm. 206. We will finalize assignments and schedule practice runs at this meeting. Please see Mr. Clifford or Mrs. Sutterlin with questions.
