8th grade ELA -- led by Mrs. Bruesewitz and Mr. Hack - - has been reading the classic "A Christmas Carol" by Charles Dickens. Earlier this week they traveled to Playhouse Square to see the live performance.
District Media Specialist Teacher Mrs. Melissa Wolf recently held two make-it, take-it ornament-making workshops for BHS students so they could enjoy a creative outlet during the busy holiday season. They repurposed thrift store books into ornaments!

The first Board of Education meeting for 2024 is scheduled for Friday, Jan. 5 at the Board Office. An organizational meeting will take place at 8 a.m. (new Board Members sworn in and President and Vice President elected), with a regular board meeting immediately following.

Today is National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day. Pearl Harbor survivors, veterans and visitors from all over the world come together to honor and remember the 2,403 service members and civilians who were killed during the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941.
