Last week, Bay High School Student Council held its annual Red Cross Blood Drive service project, and 27 units of blood were donated by BHS students and staff. Most of these volunteers were first-time donors! Thank you!

The Normandy "Kids Who Care" Club visited the Knickerbocker late last week to spread some holiday cheer. These second-graders sang songs, performed holiday charades and enjoyed a snack with these fun Bay Village seniors. These students are not only caring, they're talented!

Today is National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day. Pearl Harbor survivors, veterans and visitors from all over the world come together to honor and remember the 2,403 service members and civilians who were killed during the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941.

Tenor Saxophone player Keller Shea, a Junior at Bay High, was selected for the Ohio Music Education Association’s (OMEA) All-State Jazz Ensemble. Keller is one of two tenor saxophonists in the entire state chosen for this honor! #BeProudToBeBay
Online registration for Kindergarten begins Dec 16 for the Class of 2038! Kindergarten Information Night is Jan 29 at 6 p.m. in the Normandy Elementary School Cafeteria. All parents/guardians with students entering Kindergarten (turning 5 by Aug 1) in the fall should plan attend.

Normandy Library has a Thanksgiving tradition where each student writes something they're thankful for on a pumpkin. The pumpkins are then placed outside for the local wildlife to enjoy. Earlier this week, a Kindergarten class saw a squirrel enjoying one of their pumpkins!
