Get your Book Face on Bay Middle School! The library is hosting another contest. This one is called the BookFace Challenge. You find a book cover with a face or other portion of a body and use the book in a photo that will blur the lines between reality by replacing the book's cover with parts of yourself. Samples of this are in the library as well as books to choose from unless you already know one! You can submit up to 2 photos for this contest. The first 10 students entries will win a full size candy bar. The top 3 winners will win a full size candy bar. Staff can also enter and can win a candy bar and $10 Amazon card for the Staff Category!

Attention all 3v3 Basketball enthusiasts!! Today is the LAST DAY to turn in your registration and your money! The tournament is TOMORROW! For any fans that are planning on attending, it will cost you $! to enter the gym and watch! Remember...all money made from this event goes to the American Heart Association!! Attention all 7th and 8th graders interested in running track this spring: there will be an informational meeting Wednesday, March 16th at 3:15 outside the cafeteria, under the overhang. In addition to this meeting, please look for the flyers hanging in the hallways for other information. If you have any questions or cannot attend Wednesday's meeting, please see Mr. Fitchpatrick in room 228 or Mrs. Murawski in room 202.
Attention Softball Players,
The softball season begins next week. Please mark your calendar for Monday March 21st. We will hold our first workout after school from 3:15 until about 4:30 in the school gym. If you have any questions see Coach Barberic in Room 144.
Sports Report Congratulations to the 7th Grade Girls Basketball team who had a great run in the GCL Conference Tournament, finishing in 2nd place. The Lady Rockets lost 31 to 26 to Rocky River in a very exciting championship game. The Girls were down 22 to 8 at halftime. They came storming out after the half to outscore River 13 to 3 in the 3rd quarter to close the gap to 25 to 21. The two teams battled in the 4th quarter with Bay closing the score to 28 to 26, before River pulled away at the end.
Coach Sherwood would like to thank the girls for a great season. They brought great energy & gave great effort throughout the season.
