BMS Announcements: 

Bravo to the 7th and 8th grade Drama Clubs for their spectacular performance of Eerie Academy on Tuesday night! A special thank you to Mr. I. for all his help and to Mrs. Fortunato and Mr. Barrett for being brave enough to join us on stage! Attention all Power of the Pen members:

Since we do not have school this Friday, we will not have a Power of the Pen meeting this week. I look forward to seeing you next Friday.

Also, a BIG Congratulations goes to 8th grader Oona Louis for earning a District Platinum Pen Award for her story, "The Ultimate Search," from the District Tournament. Because of this achievement, Oona's story will be published in this season’s edition of the Book of Winners, The Winners of 2025! Oona will also be recognized for this award at the State Tournament in May. Way to go, Oona! 




The March Madness Book Bracket has advanced to the Elite 8!! Please read each book summary to vote for the one you would enjoy most!  Thank you for placing your vote for the best book in each pair.  Look for the new link in your email and vote!  Voting ends each Friday!!  



There is no chess club this week.


Bay High is looking for skilled, competitive athletes to join the 2025-2026 Bay High Cheerleading Team.

BHS Cheerleading tryouts will be held in May. We will have an informational meeting for current 8th graders on Thursday, March 27th, at 3:30 p.m. in Mrs. Kralik’s classroom. At this meeting, We will have an informational meeting for current 8th graders on Thursday, March 27th, at 3:30 p.m. in Mrs. Kralik’s classroom. At this meeting, you will hear more about the BHS Cheerleading program, scoring at tryouts, and expectations for the season.

There will also be a mandatory parent/athlete meeting for all grade levels on Tuesday, April 1st, at 6 p.m. in Mrs. Fanter’s room at BHS.
