Congratulations to the 7th Grade Girls basketball team on their victory against Shiloh yesterday 32-5. The girls raced out to an early 10-0 1st quarter lead and never looked back the rest of the way. Some good full court pressure led to some easy layups while the offense was cooking all day with four consistent scoring quarters. Hannah Vegh was the leading scorer in the game with 7 points, while Amelia Vasil chipped in 6 points, Kenzie Lowry (4), Reagan Miller (4) and Maya, Lottie, Laney, Abby and Milam each adding a basket. On the defensive end, Raquel and Piper helped shut down Shiloh with some tremendous ball pressure, help defense and aggressive play. The Rockets travel to Rocky River for a showdown with the Pirates this Thursday.
Let’s remember to RESPECT OUR COMMUNITY with KINDNESS, EMPATHY, and TOLERANCE.
