Library Announcement! Do not forget to nominate a favorite book character for our character election. Hermoine Granger is leading in the polls, with Percy Jackson, Katniss from Hunger Games, and Jeremiah from The Summer I Turned Pretty, with Percy Jackson, Katniss from Hunger Games, and Jeremiah from The Summer I Turned Pretty all trailing close behind. We have 27 different characters nominated thus far! The voters are voicing their reasons with their nominations, which include:
- He stands up for what is right in his community
- She's smart, strong and opinionated
- He never gives up, and he's the best friend to exist in any story
- Her bravery and growth mindset
We could use more votes, so look for a Google form titled "BMS Favorite Book Character Nominations" to submit your favorite character to google form titled "BMS Favorite Book Character Nominations" to submit your favorite character to the running. Next week, we will take the top three winners for a school vote! Thank you for participating!
