"BMS cheerleading tryout clinics begin Tuesday, May 21st! Tryouts are open to any rising 7th or 8th-grade student. Tryout packets are available in the main office. Please see the posters in the hallway for more info. Go Rockets!"
Attention all current sixth and seventh graders! The BMS Chamber Choir is having open rehearsals every day next week from Tuesday, May 21st, through Friday, May 24th. If you love to sing, come to the choir room each day before school, starting at 7:00 AM. See Mr. Novak with any questions.
Attention all students who signed up for the Hoops for Heart 3 on 3 Basketball tournament. This is just a friendly reminder that the event will take place TODAY, beginning at 315 PM today, in the Middle School gyms. Please make sure your team is ready to roll at that time. Mrs. Crumbacher and Mr. I look forward to seeing everyone there.
Keep riding those bikes! Tomorrow is the day that many of you have been waiting for… HONEY HUT ICE CREAM DAY!!! Be sure to get your ride card stamped, and then you’ll be provided a golden token, which will be your way of receiving Honey Hut Ice Cream at lunch on Thursday. Honey Hut has always been a huge supporter of our Bike To School Program, and we’re happy to have them back again this year. Let's see if we can reach 400 riders tomorrow for the first time in many years.
Attention all 7th and 8th graders! Would you like to visit fantastic places
around Cleveland for free? Think Cedar Point, the Rock N Roll Hall of
Fame and more! Would you like to learn more about student life in
Spain?
If your answer is “yes,” come to room 204 this Thursday at 11:15. Bring
your lunch and meet a representative of Live N Learn, who will tell us
more about hosting students from Spain for the month of July.
If you cannot make the meeting but want more information, contact
Dr. Litzler in room 217 for information.
Hear great music and see some Bay Middle School Art this Friday at the Barnes & Noble BMS Bookfair at Crocker Park! Our Jazz band and ensemble choirs will perform at 6:00 and 7:00 next Friday night. BMS Artwork will also be displayed in the store. It will be a great event! A percentage of the Books and merchandise purchased that night will be donated to the Middle School Library. See everyone on May 17 at Barnes and Noble!
Alao, all BMS library books are due this Friday, May 17. Please clean out your lockers and look at home for any books!
Thank you!!
Sports Report:
Congratulations to all the 7th and 8th grade softball players on a fantastic season. Stop down and see Mr. I sometime today for a delicious end-of-the-season treat.
Congratulations to the softball team on their 4-3 win over Lakewood last night. Leading the way for the Rockets were 8th graders Molly, Payton, Ava, Claire, Emery, and Aleyiah. The team finished the season with a record of 6 and 3. Coach Barberic would like to commend the girls for their team-first attitude. Nice season, Rockets!
Let’s remember to RESPECT OUR COMMUNITY with KINDNESS, EMPATHY, and TOLERANCE.
