BMS Announcements:
Today’s giveaway for all you bike riders is the “Rocket Pop.” Anyone with a raffle ticket will receive popsicles at lunch.
A BIG Shout-out also goes out to any student who received the “GOLD CARD” this morning, which means you’ve ridden every day since the beginning of the challenge. You only have three days remaining to complete the ultimate goal in the Bike to School Challenge - The “Trifecta” - 3 straight weeks of bike riding. Just remember, please turn all your ride cards into the raffle bin before Friday's exciting assembly.
This past Saturday, the 7th and 8th Grade Band, Choir, and Orchestra students traveled to
Sandusky to perform in the Trills and Thrills Music Festival as part of their Cedar Point Trip.
All three groups had fantastic performances and received the top rating of “Superior” from
the adjudicators, and then enjoyed a fun day at Cedar Point! Congratulations to all of the 7th
and 8th-grade band, choir, and orchestra students!
Attention all basketball players…This is the FINAL CALL for anyone wishing to participate in the 2024 Hoops for Heart 3 vs. 3 basketball tournament to support the American Heart Association. The event takes place tomorrow and is open to anyone in 5th-8th grade. If you’re still interested, pick up a registration form from the Main Office or your science teacher, get a team together, and submit it to Mrs. Crumbacher or Mr. I by the end of today's school day. If any teams have already signed up, please meet down at the school gym at 315 tomorrow.
Attention all seventh and eighth graders! The BMS Chamber Choir is having open rehearsals every day next week from Tuesday, May 21st, through Friday, May 24th. If you love to sing, come to the choir room each day before school, starting at 7:00 AM. See Mr. Novak with any questions.
Attention all 7th and 8th graders! Would you like to visit fantastic places
around Cleveland for free? Think Cedar Point, the Rock N Roll Hall of
Fame and more! Would you like to learn more about student life in
Spain?
If your answer is “yes,” come to room 204 this Thursday at 11:15. Bring
your lunch and meet a representative of Live N Learn, who will tell us
more about hosting students from Spain for July.
If you cannot make the meeting but want more information, contact
Dr. Litzler in room 217 for information.
