BMS Announcements:
Attention 8th Graders! We will be celebrating the end of our time together at Bay Middle School with an 8th Grade Spring Dance. It is Friday, May 10th, from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m., and it is $5 at the door. You won't need to dress up. We hope to see you there!
During the 17 years of the Bike To School Challenge, members of the community have stepped up to support our program. If you rode your bike to school today, you received a coupon from Bay Provisions for a free lemonade on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday. This coupon is valid through next Friday, May 17th.
To wrap up the second week, Penn Station has joined in the fun to support Bike to School and will be providing the first 250 riders a free 6 inch sub. Remember, riding your bike to school helps decrease pollution, increase your fitness, and helps make the world a better place! 9 Days down, 6 to go. Will you claim the ultimate gold card? We’ll find out next week how many are in the running for the ultimate prize in the Bike to School Challenge.
Do you enjoy playing basketball? Do you see yourself as the next Lebron James or Caitlin Clark? If you answered yes to either of those questions, the upcoming Hoops for Heart 3 vs. 3 double elimination basketball tournament is for you. Find a team, fill out the registration form, and return it to Mrs. Crumbacher or Mr. I as soon as possible. We’re only down to five school days left before the event takes place next Wednesday. All money raised will help out the American Heart Association.
Next Tuesday will be the last day to check out books. The library will not be able to check out books after next Tuesday, May 14.
Also, come hear great music and see some Bay Middle School art next Friday at the Barnes & Noble BMS Bookfair! Our Jazz band and ensemble choirs will perform at 6:00 and 7:00 next Friday night. BMS Artwork will also be displayed in the store. It will be a great event! See everyone on May 17 at Barnes and Noble!
