BMS Announcements:
Attention 8th Graders! We will celebrate the end of our time together at Bay Middle School with an 8th Grade Spring Dance. It is Friday, May 10th, from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m., and it is $5 at the door. You won't need to dress up. We hope to see you there!
A big congratulations to 8th grade Power of the Pen competition writer Nora French for earning a Platinum Pen Award from Regionals for her story "Stay Strong." Nora's story will be published in the Book of Winners 2024, and she will receive her award at States—well done, Nora!
Attention all Power of the Pen Members:
At this week's meeting, we will be selecting our favorite stories for our magazine this year. If you cannot make this meeting, please see Mrs. Goldberg or Mr. Barberic (especially if you are a States competition writer!)

Next Tuesday will be the last day to check out books. The library will not be able to check out books after next Tuesday, May 14.
Also, hear great music and see some Bay Middle School art next Friday at the Barnes & Noble BMS Bookfair! Our Jazz band and ensemble choirs will perform at 6:00 and 7:00 next Friday night. BMS Artwork will also be displayed in the store. It will be a great event! See everyone on May 17 at Barnes and Noble!

"Attention all track athletes: Please return your washed and clean uniform to Coach Murawski in room 202 by this Friday, May 10th!!"
Attention current 6th and 7th grade football players. A mandatory player interest meeting will be on Friday, May 10th, immediately after school in the gym. We will hand out the summer calendar and discuss helmet fitting for this month.
