There’s still time left to bring in your donation! If you’re in the 7th and 8th grade please donate items like shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, and other personal hygiene items. If you are in the 5th or 6th grade, please donate paper products like toilet paper, paper towels, and tissues. The classroom that donates the most items in their category will receive a donut breakfast! Your donations will help local families. Thank you for supporting this worthwhile cause!
Sports Report
The 7th-grade girls basketball team ran their record to 11-2 on the season with a convincing 37-22 win against the Avon Lake Shoregals yesterday. The Lady Rockets came out strong in the first quarter by posting a quick 16-5 lead as Claire Filiatraut led the charge with 5 points, including a three-pointer, while Chloe Kazma was unstoppable inside the key scoring six quick points to open up the game. The transition offense continued to roll all day and led to many easy baskets, while the defense kept the Shoregals in check for all four quarters. Chloe Kazma led the Rockets with a game-high 13 points, with Lilly Harmon adding 6 points, Anna Spellman (5), Mary Linehan (4), Maggie Anderson (2), and Audrey Weingart with 2 points. The Rockets will be back at home next Tuesday in their final regular season game of the season against Westlake. Come out and support both the 7th and 8th grade teams.
