BMS Announcements
Attention Power of the Pen. This Thursday's meeting will take place in Mr. Barberic's classroom and will be a sharing meeting. Please come prepared with a story you would like to read out loud. This will be the last meeting before Thanksgiving Break.
Sports Report
The 7th Grade Girls basketball team outmuscled and outhustled the Lakewood Rangers yesterday 32-14 to claim their 3rd victory of the season. Unselfish play and some wonderful transition offense led the Rocket attack all game. Chloe Kazma dominated the boards and led the way with 9 points, while Audrey Weingart chipped in 6, Anna Spellman (4), Meg Webster (4), Maggie Anderson (3), Avery Linson (3), Mary Linehan (2) and Ava Dukes adding a free throw. Congratulations on the win, and just a reminder that practice is canceled for tonight but will resume tomorrow at 330 PM.
Congratulations to the 8th Grade Girls Basketball Team on the victory over Lakewood last night!
The girls took home another victory, winning 39-34.
Scoring for the Rockets were Sloane Kerber with 16, Madelyn Lee with 10 points, Molly Rettig with 7, and Lucy Tenerowicz with 6.
The Rockets fought another challenging, close game but showed tenacity and positive energy at the end to make the team 4-1 on the season.
