Bay Middle School Students - are you looking for a place to connect with others, share your thoughts, and pray together? The BMS Prayer Group will meet this year on Mondays at 3:00 in the library. Enjoy a supportive place to talk about faith and pray for others. All are welcome."
Sports Report:
In last night's match against Buckeye, the 7th grade team came out on top in three sets with the scores of 21-25, 25-9, and 25-10. All girls were able to see action in the match and although there were quite a few unforced errors, the team managed to keep it all together.
Highlights from the game were as follows: Anna Spellman served for a total of 18 points with 9 aces, Rachel Kraft served for 15 points with 3 aces, Bridget Mac-a-lay served for 6 points with 1 ace, and Sydney Veselic served for 4 points.
As for hitting, Rachel Kraft and Sawyer Kerns each had 3 kills, Anna Spellman had 2 kills, and Riley Somerville, Addie Atkins, Claire Filiatraut, and Bridget Mac-a-lay each added 1 kill.
The Rockets are home today against Hillside, so come and join the excitement! Go Bay!!
The 8th-grade girls volleyball team remains undefeated with a win yesterday against the Bucks of Buckeye. Morgan Meade continues to dominate at the serving line, adding 5 more aces, putting her at 53 total aces for the year, a team high. Stella Turall and Payton Masterson added 3 kills a piece to solidify the win. We are home today to take on North Olmsted!
