Sports Report
The 8th-grade girls basketball team started their tournament run at Rocky River last night by beating Buckeye 32-12. The Lady Rockets had a late 7 pm tip-off, but the Rockets were ready to play as they jumped to a 8-nothing first-quarter lead and went in at the half up 20-2. Buckeye had no answers to the smothering defense that the team played the whole game. On offense, the Rockets passed the ball well and once again played unselfish basketball. The team will have a practice day today before taking on the 2 seeded Lakewood Rangers on Wednesday.
Nice team win ladies you all played great!
Go Rockets!
