Mrs. Thomas' and Mrs Evans' class studied about the Iditarod Race in language arts and social studies. The race recently ended, and late last month students had Paula Harding from the Siberian Husky Club come talk to them about this dog breed, mushing and the Iditarod.

The Bay Village Community Council recently named BMS Math Teacher Mr. Mark Kevesdy the 2025 Citizen of the Year. He was recognized for his many contributions to the community, most notably his efforts the last five years to raise funds to help solve the Amy Mihaljevic case.
