Happy Arbor Day! Did you know Normandy students recently planted a white oak tree in the front lawn of their school? It was part of One School One Book, and they were assisted by the BV Tree Conservancy & Bartlett Trees. They also learned how to measure trees to find their age.

April is Month of the Military Child, and BMS 7th grade Makerspace students, under the direction of Mrs. Melissa Wolf, made trinkets for the 71 military-connected students in the district, including stickers, lip balm holders, clings, fidgets and engraved pencils. #PurpleStar
